ABOUT COMFY COZY BABY

The story of Comfy Cozy Baby begins with a blanket. The LANACare wool baby blanket, actually. I had found it online two years ago, when my son was born, and wanted to buy it for him so desperately, but just could not justify paying so much for it (plus extra shipping charges since it was coming from the U.S.). Then, my daughter was born at the end of September the following year, and again I thought of buying her that same blanket. She had one advantage over her brother, however - winter was coming - and I wanted a warm, soft, snuggly blanket for my newborn baby girl to use during the upcoming winter months. So, I bit the bullet and bought it, all the while thinking, "I can't believe I'm spending so much on a blanket."

Two days later, it arrived. I opened the box it was in, unfolded it, put it up against my cheek and immediately fell in love (all you new parents out there know what I mean when you get that special something that is just right!) It was everything I had hoped it would be - so soft against my skin, so warm & comfortable and so perfect for my new baby. I knew right away it was worth every penny (and the package inserts I read later confirmed that by explaining all the natural health benefits of pure wool). I said to my husband, who was standing there next to me, "I'm so happy I got it. If I was to ever open a store, this is the kind of stuff I'd want to sell." His response was, simply, "You should." I stopped for a second... hmmm, why didn't I think of that?! And the rest, as they say, is history.

Now, I could go on about all the other reasons why I chose to start ComfyCozyBaby, like why I decided to focus on quality over price, or why I included some non-organic products in the store, but then the About Us page would turn into several pages. Instead, check back periodically for my blog, where I will include all this information and more.
